How do I take a backup of my data or restore an old one?

Settings → Backup / Export lets you back up on demand, and the app also takes one automatically when you close it if anything changed. To restore, open the same screen and pick "Restore from backup" — this replaces the current books with the ones in that file, so make sure it is the right one first.
