How do I enter opening stock and opening balances?

Masters → Opening Balances, the same idea as Marg’s opening screen. Three tabs: Opening stock (each item, and each lot of a batch item, with the purchase rate that values it), Customers & suppliers (amount and Dr / Cr) and Cash, bank & ledgers. Type a figure and press Enter — it saves and goes to the next row. A list copied from Excel or Marg can be pasted into any box and every row is found by its name. Changing an opening later moves the stock only by the difference; bills already made stay counted. Once checked, the owner can Lock openings so nobody changes them.
